Ace Combat: DEFCON One is a fan-fiction novel of the time-tested Ace Combat franchise. It is set in the year 2025, five years after the Aurelia-Leasath War. It is also a unique alternate universe timeline wherein three additional nations existed: The Islamic Emirate of Afzalia, which occupies Wellow, The Republic of Maharlika, which is formerly the Adams Islands, and the Empire of Nichihan, which is based on a large land mass below the Union of Yuktobanian Republics.
