End of my childhood
June 15th, 1994
Today, I make an application to join the Belkan Air Force..... Not that I ever wanted to, I guess that it "runs in the family". My grandfather was an experten (ace) during the First Osean Continental War, having clamied 54 enemy planes. My uncle is an Oberst-Leutnant (Lieutenant Colonel) in the air force, and fought during the Rectan War, and was credited with 38 aerial victories. Both war awarded the Knight's Cross of Belka for thier actions.
According to my parents, "I'm lazy and too educated to become a cartoonist, ". Well, I guess I'm next in line to be a soldier in my family. That's what everyone else wants, except me.

I am called up for some "preliminary examination" on the 2nd of July to join the Air Force.... True to old traditions, it is imparative, that all future airmen are physicaly, and mentally fit... Being short-sighted (1.5 for left, 0.5 for right) , I am asked to go for corrective eye surgery.

My 17th Birthday.... I am now considered by my family to be a "man".... Honestly, if this was 2 years ago, I would have wanted it sooner, but now, I feel unprepared for what lies ahead in life....
