The ACG-01 Chimera is a multirole attacker aircraft. It is larger, slower, and less maneuverable than other multiroles but faster and more maneuverable than other attackers, it is principally defined by its huge weapons payload and the belief that it is designed and created during the Belkan War.
Strategy[]
Despite having a slow speed and less maneuverable than other multiroles, the ACG-01 is capable of being equipped with a sizeable multirole or even air-to-air/ground payload. Its large amount of hardpoints enables it to carry a lot of bombs and missiles.
Its capabilities are enhanced further in the ACG-01X with its RDBMs being able to stick easily to agile enemy aircraft and vaporize large chunks of airships. Further still, the EUFB and FAEB can function as a last-resort WMD for erasing a large number of targets.
History[]
During the final stages of the Belkan War, the Principality of Belka found blueprints and MADB-made prototype airframes of the Chimera. Following the war, Osean munitions companies such as Wernher and Noah Enterprises, Henderson Corporation and Osean National Industries began producing working to create airplanes for a war between Osea and the Belkans.
When the Belkan War break out, it was one of the backbone attacker aircraft of the Allied Forces, mainly the Osean Air Defense Force. The aircraft was also used in the Emmeria-Estovakia War and it become of the main attackers in the REAF along with the A-10A Thunderbolt II and the A-10S Stealth Warthog.
