The Heckler & Koch G36 was the workhorse rifle of the Belkan Federation from early 1993 through mid 2018. It was a gas-operated, selective-fire 5.56x45mm assault rifle, replacing Belka's 7.62x51mm G3 battle rifle. It can use a 30-round detachable box magazine or a 100-round C-Mag drum magazine, could fire 750 rounds per minute, and had a maximum effective range of 600 meters. The G36A1 is issued with a ZF 3x4° red dot scope, and most variants can be equipped with a 40mm Anbau-Granatwerfer 36 underslung grenade launcher.
