Jochen von Below was a Belkan Army general who served during the Belkan War of 1995 as the Sudentor area defense commandant. A veteran of the Rectan War, Below was considered to be a skilled commander and by 1995 had been appointed to lead the Ninth Army. Following the regime's capitulation in June of that year, he signed a surrender document on behalf of the forces under his command, committing suicide shortly after.
