Muspelheim "Flame land", is a realm of desert. This realm is one of the Nine Nations League and it is home to the Sons of Muspell, and Surtr, their ruler. It is just sand and the land to the North, Niflheim, is just ice plains. The two climites some how mixed in the past and created water from the melting ice to form the the great inland sea Ginnungagap.
