Operation Rolling Thunder was the title of a gradual and sustained aerial bombardment campaign conducted by the Allied Forces, mainly by the Osean Air Defese Force (OADF) and the Osean Maritime Defense Force (OMDF) against the Principality of Belka from 2 April 1995 until 25 April 1995, during the Belkan War.
The four objectives of the operation (which evolved over time) were to boost the sagging morale of the Belkan regime in North Belka; to destroy Belka's transportation system, industrial base, and air defenses.
The operation became one of the most intense air/ground battle waged during the Belkan War; it was one of the most difficult such campaign fought by the Osea. Supported by its military industries, Belka fielded a potent mixture of jets and sophisticated air-to-air missiles that created one of the most effective air defenses ever faced by Osean military aviators.
