The Type 002 Seiryu was a heavy command cruiser created jointly by East Clavis and Verusa. The Seiryu played a key role in East Clavis' initial successful offensive into the West Clavian mainland during the Second Clavian War. It served as the flagship of the Clavian People's Army southern aerial fleet as well as the mobile base of operations for Banshee Squadron.
In late May 2030, the National Resurgence Army seized the Seiryu when it was landed at Tarim Air Base in central East Clavis for maintenance. A joint operation between loyalist CPA and FDF forces later seized the command cruiser, and allowed the Clavian Allied Forces to retake the mainland from the NRA. It was subsequently shot down by NRA heavy air defenses during the Allied assault on Pangora island.
