The Sukhoi Su-37UBK Naval Terminator is a licensed Welloyan-made variant of the iconic Su-27 Flanker. It is the most powerful fighter in the Welloyan Naval Forces/Marines arsenal.
Description
In 2003, Wellow and Yuktobania governments signed military cooperation agreements. Other than confirming the purchase of armaments by Wellow, was also established a joint project between the two countries. This project was a Flanker variant, exclusively designed to attend the needs of Wellow. The new plane would be loaded on the aircraft carrier and would have two seats. Combining extreme maneuverability and an advanced AESA radar, this fighter has a great potential in both BVR and WVR combat scenarios. The project starts in 2004, with the first prototype flight in March 12 of the next year. With the successful of project, the first units were delivered to the Welloyan Navy and Marines in early 2007. In the present day, more than 50 units are in operation in both forces.
