Wesson Compromise

The Wesson Compromise was the treaty between the Belkan Empire and the Osean Federation that ended the First Belkan–Osean War. Among other terms, the agreement gave Belka the Great Lakes region, which became the basis of the new border between the two powers, and seceded some northern Belkan islands to Osea.

The treaty was signed on 5 November 1852, in the eastern Osean town of Wesson, by Belkan Emperor Ferdinand and Osean President Nikola Zatsef.
